The RUN LMC collection is a throw back to the analogue past of mixed tapes and ghetto blasters. The reels and guides that are the basis of the jewellery are mined from the internal components of band demo tapes. The initial demos were salvaged from an iconic Melbourne live music venue when it was deemed the CD was now to be the official form of musical recording storage. The hundreds of cassette tapes went back to the 1980s and included bands that are now household names.
