Who's Afraid of Blue, White and Yellow? 2012

A collection of jewellery and small objects inspired by my 2-month residency in La Plata, Argentina, in 2012. My process is to collect and collate materials and objects as well as familiar and domestic material from a given constructed environment, these transformed into jewellery and associated abstract objects that reflected the city’s personality and my obsession for order, arrangements and narrative. The particular starting point were plastic candleholders discovered in a Salvation Army Op shop along with vintage plastic beads and other assorted everyday materials.
